Our mission is to bridge the gap of the mind-body connection, create open patient communication, encourage community involvement, and empower patients to continuously learn about ways in which their body is speaking to them.

Ashra was founded by Ashtau and Sierra, who forged a lasting friendship during their studies at the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. In this five-year program, they delved into an intensive curriculum which encompassed over 500 hours of Chinese herbology, 1,300 hours of biomedicine, mind-body movement courses, and acupuncture. This was complemented by 1,000 hours of clinical rotations. These rotations involved herbal prescriptions and personalized patient-centered care. Ashra deeply cares about staying up to date with education as well as supporting the community. In order to show our support Ashra is a proud member of Acupuncturists without borders.
